Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing fine. I would like to share about a fruit . I do remember in my childhood days my neighbours used to have the pomelo tree. They used to give us fruits . They look similar to the orange fruit . It tastes sweet and sour. It has many health benefits. Mainly It is a source of fibre. I watched some videos that's some people consume it by adding pepper powder. I never like using pepper powder on fruits. Do you like pomelo ?. Is it available in your country?. Image is from Google.

In many online stores that sell it, the price is more expensive than local oranges.

That's OK for me if it is sweet and juice. I just don't like if it tastes dry and sour. But dry is the worst.

Hello... I hope you're doing well today. I don't buy pomelo very often but I do enjoy it. I don't put anything on fresh fruit before I eat it.

@Icydoll I'm doing fine, thank you. I've bought guavas and mangoes with chili powder sprinkled on them, took a bite of each and threw them away.

I have never heard about this pomelo fruit until now. I came to know only through your post. It looks similar to orange fruit but the colour is quite different.

@Icydoll nope. This is the first time I'm seeing it. Even in the fruit shop, I have never seen this one. Nor did the fruit vendors bring this fruit. I have tried dragon fruit once. I liked the taste but it was a bit pricey. I haven't tried kiwi so far.

It looks like grapefruit. I wouldn't put pepper on it, but many people I know put sugar on it. I've eaten it with and without sugar. I prefer a little sugar on it to cut the sourness of it.

Those look delectable. Yes, we have it in our country, but they are bigger. I also add some salt and pepper when eating and it goes well with the sweet and sour taste of the fruit. But I have a sweet tongue so I prefer ripe mangoes, watermelons, and banana.

I never heard of this fruit. It does looks like the Mousambi (Sweet Lime) that we eat during the summers. Now a days, I don't have Sweet Lime much. Perhaps I am lazier now and don't like to spend time peeling it. As for pepper, Chat Masala on Fruits can be a tasty option, especially with the Guavas.

Yeah it is similar to mousambi . The only fruit that I feel lazy to eat is pomegranate orange is okay to peel . Pomelo has bit sour taste as people add other spices to balance it . I enjoy chili powder and salt sprinkled on guavas, orange and mango
