Animals Always Make Me Smile

Was out running errands most of yesterday. Enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful day. Rain will be here later.
Passed by a farm near my home and there was only an electric fence between us. I snapped this photo from the car. They were napping and one baby calf got up just as I took the photo. They are called Black Angus and I enjoy seeing these little families.
Life is about these little things. I always say that, I realize, but it is very true. With all of the chaos and madness going on in the world, seeing and being around animals can make everything calm again.
Smiling at someone walking down the street can make the person’s day. It’s all about paying it forward.

It's good to tune out all the crap that is going on in the world and just get back to the basics, the simple things in life. Seeing (and being around animals) always improves my mood. I also like to go for walks in nature to just clear the clutter out of my mind. It is so therapeutic. I'm glad you enjoy the simple things in life. To me, those are the most important things.

@CarolDM Please be safe, and be vigilant. I don't want anything to happen to you if a tornado strikes your area.

@moffittjc Thanks Jeff. Many tornadoes were in the area around 1am - 2am. All gone now. Not sure how much damage but all safe here. The tornadoes went all across the state, starting in Memphis. Overall, there were at least 57 reports of tornadoes in Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin, according to the National Weather Service. One tornado was only 4 miles from my home.

@CarolDM You are right.I have experienced it.When I see a hurd of town grazing in a pasture and frocks birds descending on a tree;my heart dances with joy.It really makes my day.

Really cute cows and yes seeing them around can make one really happy!
Yet at times it hurts to see that so many animals are endangered or nearing extinction.

We have a house here that rears cows and they pass by our gate, and some times stand there. I like to watch them.
