I’ve written that Joe Biden’s ancestral home is immediately behind where we are staying in Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland. There is talk that he might visit here at Easter.
Our landlord has hung American flags on out tiny balcony and there have been workmen pressure-cleaning the lane going down the side of our house. Today there is a lot of painting going on.
We also saw his face painted on a huge wall in one of the streets. I took a photo of it when I went to get groceries this morning. We are wondering if we’ll be allowed to stay here if he comes to visit or if we might be turfed out for the day.

@JudyEv To me, it is reminiscent of something behind the Berlin Wall.

Can they force you to leave? That would be weird.

@JudyEv There wouldn't be a reason for him to stop, in my opinion.
Security forces in the US would have people picketing in the streets if they threw a family out of their home because someone was driving down the street.

@DaddyEvil He has a cousin/second cousin who has a store and a coffee shop about two doors up from our 'home'. That's why they think he might drive by and/or stop.

So did Biden show up for Easter? If he did, I hope you weren't kicked out!

Well, there would be a lot of hubbub no doubt, if Biden comes to town.

There is a lot of painting and cleaning going on. I guess, with his Irish roots, people are pleased to welcome him.

I wonder if they have the right to force you to leave.
