Have you ever tried using olive oil in baking?
I used it in salads and cooking too but never tried it in baking.
Olive oil has a certain distinct smell and taste that differentiate it from other oil.
I usually use vegetable oil, canola oil, palm oil, butter, or margarine for baking.
Any idea how is it in baking? How is the taste?10 people like this

We use olive oil in baking all the time. How do I explain to you what it tastes like if you've never used it?

@rakski Yes, that's the best way to find out how it makes bread taste. I wish I could tell you so you'd know before buying olive oil. Sorry.

I don't use it for baking. Mostly it's margarine that I use.
