Itchy Me.

I think my allergy is acting up on me. Or is it too much seafood last night? But I never get itchy eating seafood. My arms and legs are itchy, and going red now. The worst thing that can happen is that I do not have any antihistamines anymore. And to go out now at 1:00pm will be a walk in hell because the sun is so hot. Do you know any home remedy for this that I can do for now? I try putting a cold compress when it really itches.

Some claim that a teaspoon of sugar melts in your mouth over time. But I haven't actually tried it, so I don't know how successful it is. LOL

@rakski I'm glad I was able to overcome my allergies once I reached adulthood. I used to suffer allergic rhinitis, which caused me to sneeze incessantly all day long until I grew fatigued and was unable to function for the rest of the day. Often, the trigger occurs when the climate changes from dry to wet or vice versa. When the climate is consistent, my allergy just goes away. It became less frequent as I got older till I no longer felt it.

I don't know any home remedies but I have seen others said baking soda. I hope you can find out what was the cause so that you can avoid them moving forward.

Do you have dried oats/oatmeal at your house? You can make a bath with lukewarm water and soak dried oatmeal in the water and take a bath in it. Just pat dry and that should stop the itchiness If you can read this link, it might help you. .

Baking soda bath, oatmeal bath or even diluting apple cider vinegar and washing the effected area helps.

It's been a while since my skin allergies haven't been acting up. Summer is here and the heat is on. The heat makes my skin suffer rashes around my arms, neck, and back of my body. I put on aloe vera gel and really I was relieved but the itch really is non-stoppable. My Rashes came adding up, My sister who was a dermatologist recommended some cream for my rashes named Clobetasol. Good thing this cream made my rashes disappear for just a few days because it stopped the itchiness.

I think baking soda and oatmeal can help ease the itching, for the pain and blisters, you can also use egg yolk that has been refrigerated. The latter I tried it myself, but it was messy, but it worked to reduce the pain, itching and redness.
