Jay is Heading Back Home Today

My husband Jay visited his sister in Georgia this week. Today, he's on the road heading towards Michigan. He should be pulling in the driveway sometime tonight.
When Jay last talked to me on the phone, he was just entering into Louisville, Kentucky. We had a best friend that lived there, but Gus passed away a few years back.
I am doing OK, but actually I'm not very good at living alone for a week! Because of my chronic digestive disorder, I couldn't go with him this year. Next summer, I'll probably go along with Jay, who knows?

He'll be back soon then.

Yes next summer may be different and you can go.

@RebeccasFarm Growing up years, I could eat anything I wanted, no problem. Now, I have various food allergies, constantly raising up their ugly head!

I'm glad Jay will be home soon.
I didn't mind living alone but don't mind that Pretty lives with me, either.

In 71 years, I've never lived alone before this week. It was eerie, it took some getting used to. If Jay gets too tired on the road driving, he will stop for the night and head home tomorrow morning.

@kobesbuddy I lived alone for years after I got my first apartment and again when I got my first divorce and then when Pretty left to live at college.
I'm sure Jay will be fine on the drive home, even if he needs to take an extra day to get home.

I am feeling a lot better, thanks. Jay spoke with me on the phone. He might stop in Ohio to get some sleep, then head towards home in the morning(Sunday.)

He is doing pretty good, I just spoke with him again on the phone. He's about to leave Kentucky and enter into Ohio. Then, it's into Michigan where we reside.
