It’s never too early to start music education! Studies show that children as young as 5 months can feel the beat and react rhythmically to music.

(I wish I knew that when my kids were young, although I did sing to them at an early age).

The forecast here is still wonky making it hard to plan jobs for cleaning windows. We have about ten customers waiting for me to for them in.
I had to let a gal go that was with me for about seven years. She's addicted to vodka and her work has gotten sloppy. The last straw was when I went to pick her up and she was so out of it she thought it was still the weekend. She never apologized nor asked to have her job back which made it easier to let her go.
I had made allowances for her long enough. Now I have to wait until May to see if a girl in college will work out to work with us a few days per week until college begins again in the fall.
So we're down to two of us working which means if a job is bigger we can only do it on Thurs or Fri to allow enough time and it's been raining those days most of the month. Plus the temps have been in the forties if we're lucky.
It might be warmer this Thurs but Fri it's supposed to rain.
I know I'm behind on notifs and hope to catch up in the near future.

Tomorrow the temps will be nice but then rain is expected until Monday when we could get a tad of snow again.

@JudyEv if we do get any I expect the ground will be to warm for it to stay at all.

@MarshaMusselman - That girl would be a great option, as you already know her.
Some volunteer work is better that not having someone who come to help you.

Letting her go was long overdue. Oddly enough I never told her she was done. I think she assumed as much once she sobered up.

My parents had a picture of me as a baby, propping myself up on my arms next to the stereo. And look at me now…can’t write a discussion without music.

Lol, that would be a picture to see.
My younger daughter sang a lot while growing up. They both sang in one church we went to years ago as well. My three year old grandson loves to play his little guitars.

@MarshaMusselman — can’t find that picture, but I did transfer some old 8 mm films to digital a few years ago, and there’s video of me as a toddler with a toy guitar, singing along to the records!

I sang to Pretty while she was still in the womb. And, once in a while, sing at her now. I like singing Rudolph Was a Red-Nosed Reindeer in the middle of Summer.
(Pretty tells me I'm either way too early or way too late.
)
I hope everything works out for you... It can be hard finding someone who is willing to work, especially if the work is part-time.

The gal that seems interested also works with me at the grocery store cashiering. She might not work as many hours as the gal I had but her performance should be a lot better.

I don't think she has the will in her to turn it around. Although she did make it about eight months staying sober, but hasn't made it a week since that I know of.

I found someone interested. Well have to see how she works out. I'll have to find someone else for the fall, though.
