Thursday Morning Brief

Good morning on this chilly, cloudy day in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The current temp is 40 degrees F. According to the weather map, it just started raining. Good. We need it.
Today will be a quiet day. I need to go to Walgreens and get two sympathy cards. The gentleman in the building passed into glory yesterday. He was a man who knew and loved the Lord. I also need one for my cousin.
Today is also Canasta at noon. Those are my plans. I'll be going out to collect the Bingo numbers unless someone won it. I only have four numbers left. The earliest I could win would be tomorrow.
I just got back from the trail. I took the longer trail this morning, divided by two streets. I'll call them the wooded trail, which I normally walk, the apartment trail, and the industrial trail. I saw the two geese in the picture above on the industrial trail. I also have all my steps. I could end up with a record number of steps today. We'll see how that goes.
I plan to work on Where Eagles Soar again today. The more I get done today and tomorrow before I leave the better since I won't have time to work on it this weekend.

@just4him I'm sorry about the man who passed away and for your cousin. I hope you are doing alright!
Wishing you a wonderful day ahead though! For me, I'm about to lay down under my warm blankets and try to sleep. I'm not well at the moment as I have a bad cold. So doing whatever I can to rest. It's mostly why I haven't been on MyLot for a little while.

Thank you. I'm feeling it now when I get up. It was a lot of walking all at once.
Thank you. It will be interesting if I win, though I don't expect it. There's only today and tomorrow for the numbers anyway as they don't post numbers on the weekend.

The weather here is good for today and I hope it will be the same tomorrow. It seems that the weather here keep on changing everyday and really can`t tell if it will be good tomorrow but everything is doing great here

Still quite cold here.
The higher temperature is still good enough but lesser than 40 C - so we hope it remains like that for some time.
Some rains are forecasted for the Saturday but we cannot be totally sure.
I hope that your book work goes on well.
Canasta is some sort of a Card game ?

Wow you got your steps in early today. I am way behind in getting mine. It's damp and chilly here today so it's just too easy to sit and not think about steps.
