No mow. . .

At least not able to mow yet. I had hubby bring the mower up. He also filled the gas tank and over flowed it. Flooding the thing.
I pulled at the string, and pulled some more. It pulled all the way out and would not go back in. I gave up.
Hubby got the string back in, but could not get the mower to start. I want to mow, so I guess I will go out and try again. Wish me luck.

Good luck.
I had a gas mower when I lived in Guelph. I took it with me to Hamilton, and the first time I went to start it, I managed to pull the cord right out.

@BarBaraPrz I had so much trouble starting it that once I did, i did not want to stop it and went on for hours.
That's is how I hurt my neck. It cost me dearly

Bob flooded it. It started after it sat for a while. Yes, we keep an eye on the spark plug.

@GardenGerty If Bob flooded it, that surely is the problem. I almost did the same two weeks ago.

Good luck!
It's been too wet here to finish mowing the first time. Our electric mower doesn't work in wet grass.

I would like to have a battery powered one.

@GardenGerty It's nice but it takes four hours to recharge the battery and it only mows about 1/3 of our yard on one charge.
I want to buy another gas mower so I can work on the back yard while Pretty mows the front.

@GardenGerty I love it. As I already had worx saw and weed whacker we got their mower. That just increased how many batteries I have

It started a little later, after the extra gasoline evaporated.

I really do not mind heat outside. Of course I either mow when the sun is not real high or after it starts down.

I have had electric mowers in the past, both with cord and with battery. I would have to have lots of batteries to do my yard now, but I would like it.
