Vince took this photo for me through the car window. It’s on a brick wall in Ballina, a town in Co. Mayo, Ireland. They have an agricultural show there each year. Probably very similar to the state fairs that America has. The background seems to be a mélange of natural fauna and flora. You can see deer and hares plus plants that I don’t recognise. I thought it was very well done.

Since towns started encouraging murals, the amount of graffiti seems to have dropped.

That is a beautiful piece of street art. I think a lot of cities are seeing this kind of art here in the US as well.

What I find hard to believe is that anyone with that kind of talent would paint something like this where they could not make a profit of it.

By encouraging such murals and street art, it seems to be discouraging mindless graffiti.

I see Mayo, and I think mayonnaise. Don't get me wrong, we have cities named Mayo. I doubt they have such amazing art though.
