...and my kids' school has covered all of the teachers' doors with butcher paper for the kids to write messages on.
I learned this fact when I went to sign the kids in and the administrative assistant caught me on my way out the door. She said she had to show me the message my youngest wrote on her teacher's door. "Oh, don't worry, it's appropriate," she said, and showed me the picture on her phone:
"I'm sorry you're under payed."

I'm pretty sure she overheard the conversation about career planning we had with her older sister last week. I was explaining how much work teachers put in beyond the hours the kids are there and that sometimes the amount they make hourly works out to less than some entry-level jobs pay.

Teachers are underpaid since the work of a teacher is very hard since some students are not exactly angels inside of a classroom.

Teachers, good ones, are good. I had good teachers and I will never forget them.

Isn't that just the best? You'd have to be a bit worried though about some of the teachers.
