Wednesday update

I never tell you about everything that happens in a day. It would be too exhausting to re live it, that is for sure.
We did go swimming today. That is another reason for me to be exhausted. Tomorrow is another "off" day, because we will have the school field day. Lots of outdoor time. My kid is in the upper classes, so he will participate after lunch, with the other para.
I took a nap this afternoon. I am not positive it helped.
We got word that although we are ending school three days early, classified staff, (people who are not teachers) will be getting paid anyway. If we submit a request for it. I got that done. I am not one to give up money.
All I have energy for tonight is to check my e mail, then go to bed.

Swimming always makes everybody tired. I'm hoping Pretty and I get to do some swimming this Summer. We haven't even tried in three years.

I got it done. This has become a habit that they reimburse for closures and they should. The money is there in the budget.

It has only been since covid that they will offer things like paid days at the end of the year. Our school board builds in a certain number of days and budgets for them, so the money is there. The goodwill they generate is priceless.

Hubs and I had an exhausting day yesterday. I'm still tired. All we did was go out and have to walk a little bit. We're getting old. 3 more days??? That's unbelievable. I hope you feel better today. Have a great day!

The pool we use is an indoor pool, so we have access year round, provided all the systems for heating and filtering are working.
