Do you have photos printed up as calendars, etc?

Another photo from way back. It shows my parents with a second cousin of ours. But can you see our two boys in the background?
One Christmas, as one of their gifts, we had the photo put on a tea-towel. Under the boys’ photo was a calendar. When the year was over, my mother just covered up the calendar and kept the picture of the boys on her wall.
You can have your photos put on just about anything nowadays. I always think they make nice gifts. We've given my sister several calendars over the years. Each month has a photo of one of the flowers/plants from her garden.

@allknowing The lass on the right isn't me. I'm not sure we're on the same wavelength.

No, we were doing a series of lake photos to make a calendar once, but had an unfortunate computer crash and lost the pics. That was before the days when things were backed up.

We have found they make nice gifts but of course you need to have suitable photos.

No, I've never done that. That's a good idea if you have someone to give them to.

I think they make great gifts. We had one made for Vince's brother last year. We were sitting round the tree opening gifts and for some reason he was talking about how he hadn't been able to buy a calendar that he liked. And as he's talking, he's opening ours!
He was kind enough to say it was just what he wanted in a calendar. lol

I've never done that. It is also a popular personalized gift here.

A beautiful treasure you have in this photo Judy. Yes it was one of the things I first noticed, you boys in the background. Your parents looked so happy too.
No calendars here.

Personalized gifts like calendars or tea-towels can be a great way to share memories with loved ones and make the most of your favorite photos. And as you mentioned, there are so many options available these days for printing your photos on different items, from mugs and phone cases to pillows and canvas prints.

We sell photos of horses and riders who participate in endurance riding. One ordered a photo to have put on a rug for a friend's 50th birthday. And when my mother turned 100, we had a rug made with all the grandchildren on it.

I am undecided who you favour, I see a bit of both of your parents in pictures of you.
