A Change Of Face

Taking selfies, photos and videos can be real fun these days, especially if you use the Face Tune app. The app has already been downloaded 200 million times worldwide ,and when put to use it can smooth wrinkles, change the shape of face, eyes nose, etc. The way l see it, even if l change my appearance in photos or videos , who will l see when l look in the mirror? no one else but the real me. Likewise when l meet family, friends and business acquaintances face to face. So would you be interested in this app?l would try it for fun.

Nope... I may not be as pretty as my avatar anymore, but at least I know I'm me.

@porwest There are pictures of me facing the camera but lately, I've been showing my hair, not my face.

No, I don’t think I’d be interested. So many things are fake or altered these days so I prefer to stick with representing the real me.

I chose it because it reminded me of me during my reporter days -- that was my style of dress. Of course the complexion and hair color would have been different.

I'm sure it's a lot of fun and no doubt dozens will use it but it doesn't really interest me. And sometimes it might just give people a wrong impression.

@Kandae11 That I could live with and it's pretty much what we do if we're processing photos.

Some say the enhancement could be light, not too much. Just as if you are wearing a bit of makeup and the lighting is good. No reconstructed nose, eyes, etc.

I am me and me is all I can truly be. Even if I make me look better in a picture, I will still be me in real life, so, if the jig will be up eventually anyway, why kid myself, or others? lol

I would try this for fun too. Most of us have something that we would make a small change to. I could take the picture to a plastic surgeon if I was brave enough to have plastic surgery.

It would be a fun experiment too. Come to think of it , this is quite similar to wearing heavy makeup. When you take off the makeup your real face is exposed.
