Standing among the Royals

One of my best memories is that photo of Martin with The Beatles at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London, England. Since the royals have been in the press recently I took another look and found a photo also taken at the museum with Martin on one side and his son on the other. They kind of look like they just wandered in as the royals were being photographed and decided to stand right behind the Queen herself. Guess if that really happened it would have been very rude.

They fit right in! My sister has a lot of pictures of her three children posing with various wax figures at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson, Missouri.

@RasmaSandra I found a picture of my niece Annelyn, posing with the wax figure of Audrey Hepburn in a scene from the movie, "Breakfast at Tiffany's".

This is another great photo. Of course in real life they would have not be allowed to stand there.

@LadyDuck I can just imagine the pandemonium if the royals were having a photo shoot and they went as stood behind her

@Tampa_girl07 yes, that photo made me think how it would be if the Queen was really there posing for her wax figure and they go behind her for the photo

Not quite a match.... you're hubby and his son are better looking than the royal family, in my opinion.

@RasmaSandra You're welcome. I've never been to Tussauds but I have been to a wax museum in Branson, Missouri. I wished I could get my money back after seeing those poor likenesses of famous people. (Honestly, I think your hubby and his son would look good beside the real royal family, though. )

@DaddyEvil thank you but then I guess the museum did its best with the wax figures. Tussauds does better than other museums. I remember ages ago I went to a wax museum and was looking for Elvis. I saw a statue that really turned me off. Suddenly my friend who was with me shouted But that is Elvis. I thought he had come into the museum I said Where she pointed at the miserable wax figure and I said No way,

The queen's rendition is immaculate. Prince Charles looked a bit, well, statue like, in contrast.

@Sojourn no offense to Charles but I have always found him rather more like a puppet than a person. I do agree with you the Queen was very well portrayed.

That’s a good realistic looking picture. You would think they were all there in person.
