This is the chair I wrote about the other day, that was in need of renovation.
I haven’t done a really thorough job I’m afraid, I mainly just cleaned up the wooden parts and then re-covered the seat, adding a layer of fire-resistant foam in place of the rather nasty padding that was originally there.
Not the most professional job ever, but good enough for everyday use don’t you think?

Definitely good enough for everyday use. Cool fabric choice too. Now all you have to do is all the rest of them.

The chair looks really good, though. You aren't a professional restoration specialist... so why are you worried about it looking "professional"?
