His right foot!

Well, aeroplanes are cramped spaces and it's easy to wander into your co-passengers space without meaning to. My co-passenger decided to cross his legs before take off and I was left with little space - couldn't manspread my legs. Not a big deal! I was planning to politely tell him to move, but 15 minutes after take off, he changed his position. Being a slim guy, this didn't affect me much, but I understand that this kind of intrusion can drive a few people crazy! All's well that ends well and the rest of the flight was uneventful.

Gross. A bare foot so close to me would be pretty nasty. I am glad to hear he changed position.

I just forced myself to look away, except when I took the photo.

True, but no offence, especially when not washed

I don't like feet and would have immediately asked him to move his foot away from me. He has his own space. He doesn't need to intrude on yours. He could have bought another seat if he needed more room.

I thought it was just an error of judgement, so let it pass. He was very quiet and courteous the rest of the flight.

@pitstop I've never been on a commercial flight. I have ridden in a single-engine plane owned by a friend and have flown in a helicopter but that's the only flights I've ever been on.

Dirty foot.... I would ask him politely to please do it on the opposite side. I he doesn't then, I would spread mine without regard for his own space.

I should have tried one of those steps and seen how he reacted.

The more flights I take the more I don't want to. I don't like feeling like I'm a sardine in a can.

I enjoy flights. It was more than 4 years sinc my last flight and we enjoyed the flights we took this month

@pitstop I hate practically sitting in a stranger's lap for hours and pretending that stranger is not elbow to elbow with me.

Such spaces are very crowded without others encroaching on your space. I hate having to sit next to a very big person.

The airplane seats are just about built for the average body build.

He should have known that he was taking your space but not many have that sense

How rude to be barefoot and invade your space.

There is not enough space to be comfortable on any flight. They are too focused on making the most money. I've often thought about flying first class.

I could never afford business or first class.
