What did you have for afternoon snack on this busy Thursday?

I thought today was going to be a relaxing day. But things at Guitar Center turned out to be busier than I expected. By the time I got home I was exhausted and hungry. I took the last of my Trader Joe's Kun Pao Chicken, added some jalapino peppers, onions, fried rice, zucchini, and teriyaki sauce, and cooked it up. Now I think I may be ready to face the early evening. Do you do afternoon snacks?

I warmed up a slice of Sam's Club pepperoni pizza, and it wasn't bad.

@TheHorse From Sam's, also cheap and yummy. I'm not talking about the frozen kind, but one made from from their own "food court". My dad brought it to me Monday. I'm feeling the pressure to finish it!

@AmbiePam Do you heat up the leftovers? My dad was famous for eating cold stuff from the fridge as he watched Perry Mason before going to bed.

I have a snack, which helps keep me on the “straight and narrow.” Usually it’s a Fiber One brownie, some fruit, or yogurt.

@TheHorse He was exhausted and he told me that he has enough of hospitals, doctors, medications and tests. I can understand, I would be the same.

I'm glad you survived your music students, pony. I hope the food revived you enough for you to carry on without trouble. this evening. I ate a bowl of Vanilla Bean ice cream and a cinnamon roll for a snack this afternoon.

@DaddyEvil You like it when it's like soft serv? I like the contrast between the cooling milk and the crunchy frozen ice cream.

I had an interesting and tasty snack. It was a crepe that had chocolate in it. I didn't make the crepe. Its something that I bought from a food box company.

We got takeaway Chinese for dinner but it was pretty disapppointing really. The lemon chicken was nice but the pork in the pork dish was pretty tough.

Sorry to hear that. The only Chinese pork I get is Moo Shoo Pork (I love the plum sauce) and Hot and Sour Soup with pork.

That looks delicious. I usually just have a handful of almonds or walnuts as afternoon snacks.
