My daughter is here wanting to help us with things. She is in her forties and is a hard woriker, really strong. And encouraging. Our big project yesterday was to switch out the tops on Bob's Capri automobiles. Both were made in 1991, but we have worn the first one out. When we moved we were given one that had been sitting idle for fourteen years. Bot originally had cloth tops or rag tops as they are called. Those things deteriorate if you cannot store the cars inside. We cannot. For each of them we have bought a removable hard top. The problem was that the second top we bought will not shine up pretty. We wanted the nicer looking top on the one we drive so we needed to swap them out.. The tops are not heavy, but they are awkward. It was much easier for my daughter to help finish undoing the bolts and for the three of us to lift the tops and put them on the correct car. This is just one of many things my daughter has helped with while visiting. It explains where I was yesterday, instead of being here.
