5/28/23 - Meals & Update

Today is May 29 - Memorial Day in the United States. As I mentioned before, on this day we remember the men and women that gave their lives so that we can be free. It's not Veterans Day; but I would just like to take another opportunity to thank the veterans on MyLot for their service.
Hubs says he doesn't feel any better. His follow-up appointment is coming up on the 31st. I am hoping he will be able to go so he can give the doctor an earful.

Breakfast - Cinnamon oatmeal square
Lunch - Wedding soup
Dessert/Snack - Cranberry/orange muffin
Dinner - Swiss cheese/turkey roll-ups

He had me reschedule his appointments for this week. Can't walk from the car to the offices.

I don't really know...I sure am a bit nervous. Yesterday I had chicken curry. My sister-in-law was here and she loves bringing curry whenever she comes over. It was super delicious. This picture is quit interesting. Was it taken during day time?

No long weekend here, we had our Victoria Day holiday last Monday.
We are getting a lovely taste of summer time weather here, minus the humidity which suits me perfectly.
Dry hot air is much easier to deal with than the humid hot air is.
My hubby and the girls will drive our son to the train station this afternoon, as he needs to go into the office, which is in Toronto, tomorrow.
Our daughter-in-law works from the office today.
I will go over to their place when I finish work to relieve my hubby and help Klaudia get the girls fed their supper and bathing and then bedtime bottles and finally bed. It will only take a couple of hours but it is important to stay on schedule.
I will come back home once they are both tucked into their little cribs.
Tomorrow his train is back in at 7:55 and I am going downtown to pick him up and drive him back home again.
Not sure who will help Klaudia tomorrow night, but at least I konw that she is working from home.

@LindaOHio No, they fussed for a while, but once we pulled the blind in their bedroom completely it was only a couple of minutes. All you have to do is put your hands on your head behind your ears, like you are relaxing, and they know it is bedtime.

You're awake early today... I hope everything else is fine there.
We aren't doing anything today... Just watching movies and visiting on myLot.
I ate a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast, I made some chicken and noodles for lunch and Pretty made some homemade chicken nuggets and I made fried green beans to go with them.

I'm up all night every night. I usually go on the computer at 5 am; but I started early today. Nothing much going on here. Have a good day.

Wedding soup; that’s a yummy choice!
Finally, that doctor will (hopefully) hear what needs to be said, and your husband will be heard. I have to tell you, that procedure was mentioned to me once, but after your husband’s experience, I will never do it.

I wouldn't have it done either. He had me reschedule his appointments for this week. He's just not able to walk from the car to the offices.

I had some rice with diced tomatoes today. Personally from what you have been writing about your hubby even though it would be dramatic but would certainly make a point I think he should got to the doctor and then fall on top of him and say see I told you I do not feel better,
