I am still not sure what bit me

I was kind of leaning toward a flea bite. Jax doesn't have fleas now, but he might have had a few before he got his Bravecto collar. However, the bite also looks like a possible spider bite. However, I think I got it in my slipper, and it would be hard for me not to notice it in there. Well, anyway, I simply must wash these slippers prior to wearing them again. If you have ever wondered what bit you, maybe this chart will help,

Yes, you should wash them first before wearing them. I cannot open the link, there is some problem with it.

I’m a little too afraid to look at the chart. I’m afraid I’ll make myself itchy!

. I know what you mean...you might suddenly "discover" a bite you didn't know you had.

Two days before New Year a tiny spider bit me. I think that it was not a brown recluse (I eouldn´t be here) but it sure was a close cousin. It took 3 months and a lot of money in creams and pills to leave me almost fine. Now I have a Raid spray in my room.

That is too bad. You might be allergic to them. As I mentioned last year, I had a serious spider bite..which was painful and itchy. It was the middle of the night, so I told myself if it was like that tomorrow I would seek medical help. It improved throughout the night though, in the morning..it was much better.

At least you know it wasn’t a poison spider. Coulda been a sweat bee or an ant if not a flea.

Some spider bites can really cause a lot of damage. My sis got bit by a brown recluse once. She was in the hospital for days, as when that spider bites a person, it causes a lot of skin damage and infection. She darn near lost part of her foot. I know some people like spiders, but I am not one of those people. I hate getting bit by bugs.

I had a spider bite last year that was very itchy and swollen plus showed signs of infection on my arm. It was in the middle of the night and didn't want to go out but told myself if like that in the AM I would seek medical help.

Even the bitten area should be washed thoroughly with soap and water, aside from the material of course. Thanks for the information provided by the link. Take care.

I checked out the link very carefully as I have an itch/bite/sore on my shoulder that is taking its time to heal. If it's still there when we get back after the weekend I'll go to the doctor in case it's a skin cancer.
