Holiday is Over So It's Back To The Daily Routine

Happy Tuesday Everyone! I'm enjoying my coffee on this nice sunny morning. With yesterday being a holiday I'm still thinking today is Monday instead of Tuesday.
After a long weekend today life is back to the daily routine and the basic house stuff that needs to be done. I already started the laundry and unloaded the dishwasher.
Now I'm going to myLot for awhile before the wash needs to be moved to the dryer.
Over the weekend my daughter and I managed to fill up two nice size boxes for donation. Now we just have to find out when the next pick-up is scheduled for our area.
My daughter is going to a baby shower in a few weeks so I'm crocheting a very pretty baby blanket in multi shades of purple and gray. She's going to add this to whatever else she gets as her gift. I love making baby things and don't have much opportunity anymore since all my grandkids are older now.
That about sums up what's going on here today.

I do have my routine and the days my daughter doesn't work it gets all mixed up. Usually on those days we do stuff

@Marilynda1225 I could easily get mixed up with today because the garbage people were just here. They normally come out on Monday and Thursday. Not going to Bible study this morning doesn't help. So, I need to keep the day in focus. There will be a return to normalcy tomorrow.

I hope she likes the baby blanket. I have a few from when my kids were babies that my mom made.

You're too generous to prepare a gift that you personally crocheted. I'm sure the receiver would love it. I admire you and your daughter for constantly donating things. May God bless you for this.
My day has gone well. It's 11 pm and it's time to go to bed. I'll try to sleep earlier than usual.

The baby blanket you are crocheting must be very pretty.
It's very hot today. Temperature is 36C. I couldn't take a walk this morning as I got up a bit late.

Well sort of good because they are lying the fiber optic cable outside, and they cut and trimmed my yard facing the street...yay something I don't have to do, or hire someone for, but bad in that my Chromebook is jumping all around on the Prolific site, and is causing a big headache. I cleaned the cache and cookies, but hasn't made a difference. I will have to put another computer into action.

What ply are you using for the baby blanket? I'm just curious. 
Thicker ply crochets up faster but sometimes it's nice to do one in a finer ply.
