If you were me

Would you rather win the lottery than live a longer life? Or would you rather have a longer life than win the lottery? Why? For me, I would rather win the lottery. Why? Because I could do all the things I wanted to do such as helping my kids and my siblings, and donating to the needy than living a longer life without purpose. What about you? What are your thoughts on this? Which do you prefer and why?

I would rather win the lottery. There is so much good that could be done with that money. We could move to the Florida Keys and buy a boat; and we could support a lot of good charities.

I'd rather NOT win the lottery, stay right where I am, and donate my time to various travesties...I mean charities. And then visit you in the Florida Keys.

If I were healthy, or if I had a husband and children I would choose a long life (although I know my dad would think like you do because he'd also want to help his kids, family, and friends). Seeing as I have none of those things, I would choose the lottery, which I hate to say. I would love to know my family could have excellent healthcare, my nieces and nephew would get a great education, and I know so many people I would love to help out. I would love to be able to send checks to help out many people and organizations. But as for you, young lady, I am absolutely certain your family would rather have YOU live a long life than the lottery. So don't go making any deals with the devil. *I've also never played the lottery so I'm never going to make this happen.

@Jenaisle Nah. Once you hit thirty, you’re supposed to start counting backwards.

Amber, you made me laugh. Making a deal with the devil certainly looks tempting. However, may I say that I'm no longer a young lady? I'm a retired old lady, counting her final days on earth.

I would prefer the lottery winning. I suspect I will live long enough to enjoy it.

Your choice is the same as mine. It's better to die rich than die poor.

Same as you, I would rather win the lottery. Living to become very old and running out of money would not be a happy life. If I win the lottery I can help a lot of people.

I would not want to win the lottery. I like to earn what I have. I would like to live as long as I can while still being happy, healthy and active. And ungodly attractive to women.

I would also hope to win the lottery. The life depends on the quality rather than its length.

I enjoy living and I want to be here for many years, no money can replace a mother in my kids lives. I want to see them grow, money comes and go but life is precious.

Well. If I can get to live a long life , I could win a lottery atleast once in the lifetime . Although with my past experiences , I have been very unlucky

We all want money AND a long and healthy life. But, we don't get to pick and choose. There are pros and cons to both, as we know. I would have to give this question a lot of serious thought. I do know money is important, but it truly isn't everything.

@Jenaisle Everyone looks at things differently. They just do. And yes, I have a huge tendency to overthink things at times--and make more work for myself. But I am a work in progress, we all are. If we were perfect, what would we work on, what would our goals be? Haha, I won't EVER be perfect, so I don't have to worry about it. And you are well versed and sharp as a tack, you know!!

Win the lottery (I assume that this is a BIG MONEY) and travel the world with my family, investing the money, and donating them of course and make sure that my family get a better life
