My Teddy bear´s story.

Many many years ago, my eldest daughter gave me my Teddy bear. In Spanish, it is a word game with the last name of my husband. I had just become a widow and my daughter gave it to me so that it would keep me company. Time went by and my granddaughter once tore off the necktie and for about 2 years the necktie was on the chest of drawers and the Teddy bear was there, naked, looking at me. Once I took a needle and sewed the necktie again. And as I touched it, I discovered that it was very disty. And I wondered how could I clean ity. I remembered that several of the times that I had tried to wash pillows they had ended up in a garbage can. Today I was cleaning up the chest of drawers. I cleaned every photo and every small box. The only dirty thing left there was the Teddy bear. So I told it to behave as I was going to give it a bath. And I placed it alone in the washing machine. I was dreading what would happen yet understanding that I could not have a 20 year old dirty Teddy bear. I just took it out. It was better than new Teddy bear is sitting in the bathroom rack getting dry. I had forgotten that it is yellow as a newborn chicken. The necktie is bright red. I am happy.
