6/15/23 - Meals & Update

My eye doctor appointment went well. My eye pressure was low and my eyes are stable.
We went out to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse afterward; and the meal was OK. My husband's steak was well done instead of medium (the waitress gave him a free dessert because of that); and my chicken tenders were a bit overdone. The outside batter was really hard and overly crispy. My husband took a piece of cheesecake home; and I took home the Chocolate Stampede which was two pieces of chocolate cake with a mousse layer and two scoops of ice cream. YUM!
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Longhorn Steakhouse - Cheddar stuffed mushrooms, bread, strawberry pecan salad, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts
Dessert/Snack - One piece of the Chocolate Stampede and ice cream...YUM!
Dinner - None

I had a sunset that made up for that one when I went on a sunset cruise down there.
Chicken taco salad for lunch; chicken and cauliflower for dinner. I’m paying dearly for the cauliflower now.

Usually they give my husband a steak that is too rare.

Glad your eye appointment went well, Sounds like a good dinner except for your chicken tenders and the steak but great about the dessert. I had pork patties and some scoops of cottage cheese, Too hot for anything else,

@RasmaSandra Yes, please do. I noticed that the south is getting another round of severe storms. It seems like it's that way every day.

Thanks. It's going to be very comfortable for the next 7 days. Temps in the 70s but no rain. We could use the rain.

Would you say Longhorn Steakhouse is your favorite place when dinning out? We have one about 20 minutes from my home. I have a local restaurant 5 minutes away called Harpoon Willies which makes a great steak sandwich.
