Photo shows daughter in my kitchen as she is serving up the dinner she made for us.
This is my final day with her. She is out walking with Helper, hubby and yes, Rufus dog. Hubby wants daughter and Helper to get to know each other a little if God help us, something happens.
Time of course flies and has flown. Tomorrow by noon daughter will be seated on the train, headed back home. Hubby and I best find things to keep us distracted for a while tomorrow or we'll sit and be grumpy.
Lovely sweet visit. Rufus has been good with daughter. Daughter is not a dog person but the two have come to a meeting of minds. Rufus is also going to need distractions tomorrow. He has made a good friend with daughter.
Hubby had a good birthday. The carrot cake was very tasty. There is a little left!
I bought local cherries though they cost a lot. So somebody talked me into making cherry pie this morning. We'll have a slice before this day is over. Heh. Sugar dusting on top, otherwise just cinnamon and Bing cherries.

@snowy22315 Working that one out. It might be us having to fly to her world in a couple of years then her heading our way a couple of years after that.

Aw, I wish she could stay longer, and it sounds like Rufus agrees, which I absolutely love to hear. Does your daughter look like you, or your husband? I like trying to tell which kids look like which parent (I took after my mom). She probably looks like you both! Hopefully, this visit’s good memories will tide you over a little longer, and it won’t be so long before you see her again.

I was away from myLot while daughter was visiting but I'm glad to know Rufus and daughter got on well.
