Today We're Cooking Hamburgers on the Grill

This doesn't sound like an elegant dinner, but to us it certainly is. We don't
have an over in this rental house, which is unusual. So quite often we cook meat on the grill.
And any sides I add to this, will be either warmed up or cooked on the
electric stove. We use the microwave a lot more, since we moved into
this place.
With it being so nice outdoors, we enjoy cooking meat on the grill. Today,
it's about 68 degrees, with a cool breeze coming off the big lake. I like it
this way!
We have broccoli/cauliflower and cole slaw in the refrigerator, these will probably be our vegetables.

@kobesbuddy No, I cannot tolerate the heat very well either, I hibernate in the air conditioning when it gets too hot. Today is a glorious day.

Not having an oven must be a disadvantage at times. I take for granted my normal appliances, but I remember not having a working stove in my fifth wheel. I did not like that.

I love to bake biscuits and corn bread. I tried doing this in the microwave, they didn't turn out good.

@kobesbuddy I never thought about that. It was worth a try because I would have guessed with corn bread it might have been possible.

@kobesbuddy ...........My favorite side dish is baked beans. This is what I always take to pot lucks and such outings.

We warmed up some baked beans and broccoli/cauliflower. It ended up being a very enjoyable dinner:)

I'd be lost without an oven... No grilling here. (I always burned myself on the grill so I got rid of it and just bake meat in barbecue sauce in the oven. That works out much better.)

@kobesbuddy We had a gas grill and then a charcoal grill. I was happy not to have either one anymore. Pretty protested me giving them away but she wouldn't use them and I wasn't going to be talked into using them.

I miss baking biscuits and corn bread, in the oven! We have a gas grill, it's easy to regulate the temperature. I don't like using charcoal, ever!

We never use charcoal any more. A gas grill, it is easier to control the temperature.

Sounds good to me. We used to BBQ specially marinated chicken wings and meat on skewers in our garden in Latvia during the summers,
