Yappy Dogs

When I went for my walk these yappy little dogs were waiting for me. They hear me coming before they can see me and bark as long as I’m in sight. I guess they’re bored and waiting for a little excitement. I don’t mind. They’re cute , but gosh they can bark loud. I snapped a picture so you can see how cute they are.

Oh, Ruby! They are adorable, and I'm so glad you got the picture. I just want to pick them up, and snuggle them.
Yes, little dogs can definitely be yappy. Everyone was always amazed my dogs weren't yappy at all, because Chihuahuas are known to be like that. For some reason, my dogs never did. It's sweet that you can look past that annoying behavior. I hope the rest of your walk went well.

@RubyHawk I lived with a few as a kid. While cute, they would bark at everything.

@DaddyEvil I don’t think so, they’ve been there a long time. It’s near the nature trail and not many people walk there. I think they only bark when someone passes by and I’m that someone.

In my apartment complex there is a two-bedroom unit I pass on the way to the bus. Two female teacup Yorkies that look like the dogs in your photo bark at me from the top apartment, and right below them, two male Bichon Frises bark at me from the apartment below.
I always say something like, "Yes, hello to you, too."

Yes, they are cute. Small dogs bark more than the big ones.

When I went to see the apartment we are moving to there was a dog barking and I made a comment and said that it would not bother me. There is a dog that barks here where we live too. Maybe they want to be inside where the action is or maybe just want attention. Dogs bark for all kinds of reasons that I will never know why. They are cute. Maybe they just want to bark at you to say hello and want you to talk to them.

When I had my dog I loved to take her with me places but not all loved that I did. Maybe if you go past there enough the dogs will get to know you and not bark at you. They are cute and that could be. That is nice that they can get air.

They do look cute, but I'm afraid of dogs. Because in my country, most of the people here don't have dogs.

@RubyHawk My Great Uncle used to deliver milk and he had one that was always yapping at him nipping at his heels. He once whacked it with a milk bottle, and the dog caused him no trouble after that...lol.

They are cute but I have always found that the smaller the dog the louder the yap,
