A Schoolmate Came to Visit on Saturday

When Laurie walked in the room, I didn't know who she was. Then, I thought she was Linda, her sister. Nope! It was Laurie, who gave me a big hug:)
Our landlord brought her over to visit with me, which was nice of him! Laurie lives in AuGres, about ten miles from here.
Jay wrote down her address and phone number, so we can stay in contact. I didn't realize that our landlord Jerry is Laurie's first cousin
Gosh, it can become a small world at times. Laurie was visiting at their home, about three blocks from where we are living. . Both our last names started with the letter "V". So, our senior year we were seated next to each other in Government class.
Everybody was seated in alphabetical order.
