Wearing My New Summer Dress

This is a photo of a summer dress I purchased in April. It wasn't on sale, but it was at a reasonable price. I seldom buy things for myself, so I didn't feel guilty spending this money.
Jay buys clothing whenever he wants something new. He told me to do the exact same thing, but I'm a saver, not a spender. My husband loves to go shopping and I don't.
We are all different, so this really doesn't matter at all.
Taking a selfie is quite hard, so I tried using a long mirror. Nope, it's still not right! At least you can see what this dress looks like:) I love it!

I like your new dress. I might never buy another dress. I have one new dress I’ve never worn and others that look new. I haven’t had a dress on in over four years and I might never wear a dress again. I wear pants everywhere and have forgotten dresses.

Jay told me, "Don't feel selfish buying something for yourself!" I grew up poor, so spending wasn't something I could do. Now, I act like we are poor, even though we are middle income.

It looks very cool and comfortable. I tend to seldom buy unless something is on sale or is at the thrift shop. Even then that can be foolish for me if I find the fit is not just right. It is hard for me to spend.

Finding clothing in my size is hard to do. They stock about two, then never order any more. The same with size 5 shoes, it's almost impossible to find them.

I had slacks on and felt too warm. With a dress on, I'm much cooler. It got very hot today!

When I spotted this dress, it was in my size. I seldom find things that fits good! Jay has the same problem, his legs are very long.
