Purple and Orange Day Lilies

These are growing out back. I thought I had lost my purple ones. But they had multiplied so I don't mind them not blooming last year. They look wonderful this year. I took the picture before it started raining. When I took my first walk it was cloudy out. But then got sunny until about 4. Then it poured for a few minutes. But the sun returned after that. At least I didn't have to water. I decided I didn't feel like cleaning any today. Instead I crocheted. I also shopped for glow in the dark yarn. I am not finding any with great reviews. Because of that I will decide on different colors for Monster. If I find some in town somewhere I can decide if I like it. And Amazon doesn't carry the yarn I have for the daughter. So I will get it when I go to Walmart the next time. For now I will get yarn for the other two afghans. Tomorrow is supposed to be a little cooler. That will be nice while we are at the auction. Hopefully our goodie guy brings some nice stuff in. I will be able to let you know tomorrow evening. Hope your day was good.

Mom had purple and orange daylilies on the farm... I've never seen the purple ones anywhere else. Have a good night.

I think they will grow well. We also have these flowers in public and this is why I think it is easy to take care of them.

I've never worked with glow in the dark yarn but I'm sorry to hear that it doesn't get good reviews. The price of yarn has gotten so expensive that I have to search and see who has it on sale. Walmart has some pretty good prices. Your lillies look pretty. Enjoy the auction

The reviews say it is thin so not good for a blanket. I usually buy at Walmart. But our store shrank that area. So not as much to pick from now.

@wolfgirl569 the concept of glow in the dark is intriguing but at least you read the reviews before investing in the yarn. I'm sure Monster will be happy with whatever color you choose.

Amazon was where I looked mostly. Many of the yarns are a lot thinner than what I would want for a blanket.
