A nice interaction to start my Sunday.

Heading to my drug dealer's place to buy some wine for today.
An older couple is approaching the end of our driveway with a golden retriever in tow.
I stop to let them pass if they want, but they are in a happy and slow-moving "zone," make friendly eye-contact with me, and wave me through.
I wave thanks to them and head to my drug dealer's place.
Golden retrievers and labs are a part of my extended family tradition.
I begin my day in a good space.

I am waiting in bed for the bathroom to be throughly warm so that I can take a long shower. Meanwhile I´m mylotting. I just listened to Mack the knife thanks to @fourWalls

Sunny, warm but not sweltering. Doing a bit of this and that here and there in the garden, but came in now to have something to eat.

Good to know that the old couple were enjoying themselves.
This Sunday was another rainy day (single day records broken in Delhi for many years...).
We went out but luckily those roads were not that waterlogged.
Yet many other parts had big waterlogging and even a feel of rivers.
We did grocery shopping and some eating out.

My uncle had a black lab. Attention seeker. Even as pup, he would put his front paws on my shoulder, lick my face and run away...see what I can do, and you can do nothing...come and play with me type..Uncle also had an Alsatian. That guy was so dignified...once he licked me on my hand, and I told him, I don't like it, will you believe, he never did that...but would always come to me for being pampered. I miss the Alsatian more.

@TheHorse The lab was kinda..no loyalties. Alsatian on the other hand would hover around me, and whenever I was sad, somehow, I would find him besides me. I used to go by the side of the pool when somebody said something hurtful. My aunt is a nasty one. So swimming pool was my hideout. He would somehow turn up there, and make me pet him. Soon my mood would be better. They put him to sleep. I hated them. I would have taken care of him.
