Jay Bought Some Fresh Nectarines

I wondered why my husband bought so many nectarines. They were on sale at the Meijer's Store, so he filled a plastic bag 1/2 full. Now, I realize why he bought so many! They are so delicious, neither of us can leave them alone:) These nectarines are really good, this makes a wonderful afternoon snack. I have to be careful not to overdo it, with fresh fruit. Even natural sugar can cause problems, a couple servings each day is fine, though. Photo: Mine

I saw nectarines on sale at the grocery store yesterday also. I was only tempted for a second to buy them because a display for peaches caught my eye. Peaches will be in season soon enough, I love fresh peaches.

@kobesbuddy Sweet corn is starting to come into season here. Next Saturday, if it isn't raining, my hubs and I want to go to a small town near us to pick up some fresh corn.

How can you possibly say he bought too many of such a delicious item? If he had bought less you'd just have to visit the store again that much sooner.

Those sound so good, I know our Meijer stores here always have such nice produce. I am going to have to dart in there sometime this week. My son also likes these, so he will appreciate them as well.

These nectarines were very hard. I questioned if they would actually ripen. Yup, they certainly did!

We bought fresh grapes yesterday and they are the biggest and best we've ever had. They are like small plums. It's hard to leave them alone too.
