I hadn´t read poetry for a long time. I used to know many poems by heart and ever since I was a child my mother gathered us at the dining room and recited to us in dark evenings when there were electric problems in our area. She lightened a parafin lamp, so similar to how I imagined Aladinn´s magic lamp. When I looked at the time I discovered that I had to go to make lunch for Mario and I. And I looked at the creen here and saw that we, mylotters, had June´s money. I hope you all get your riches. I an happy with your friendship. And a bit of money, of course See you later

If anyone had read or recited poetry at me, I'd be asleep in no time. I hope you're enjoying your day.

@marguicha I used to write poetry and didn't even like to read that afterward. I'll pass on reading poetry.

I have always loved poetry. I have at least a dozen poetry books and likely more.

@marguicha I don’t speak Spanish so mine has to be in English.

Even though it's often not a great lot, it's still nice to get that little bit of money.

I am old enough to remember we had teachers that actually taught the meaning of a lot of poetry. It led me to love it, to try to write it, to enjoy it. Of course I remember the old, long gone poets, poetry is not appreciated or enjoyed like it once was. I suppose it's lack of popularity has a lot to do with the fact so few people actually read anymore. I am glad you enjoy poetry, Marga. I do as well.
