Back from Walmart

It was a long, hot trip, one hundred bucks gone, and I only got about half of what I wanted to get. They either didn't have it, or I couldn't find it. Plus I felt I was spending quite enough. I can think of one thing I will still need to get tomorrow. I need dill pickles and they weren't on the list. Sigh! I had to traipse around that supercenter and still have some bags to bring in. I am not sure anything I got was that great of a buy honestly, although some were OK. What did you do today?

@snowy22315 Really? Wow! That really surprises me, but hey, some people don’t mind the Supercenters all the time. I like the Neighborhood Market because we have a Supercenter nearby that takes the big crowds. So the Neighborhood Market gets a smaller group, and I’m never left waiting forever.

@AmbiePam Yeah, I knew of one Neighborhood market that I bopped into a couple of times on apartment shops in Chesterfield...SW of RIchmond. I thought it was in a great location, but it closed as did 2 others that I know of.

I think all of the Walmart Neighborhood Markets went out of business here.

I had a very long day and I am exhausted.
We walked to Italy this morning, I got our magazines. Then we went grocery shopping at Aldi first and a local grocery later. We waited for the Electric company workers who came to replace the gas meter and the electricity meter. Finally, we walked to the bank (I needed some cash) and to the pharmacy that is just on the side of the bank.

We ran some errands early today and yes, Walmart was also on the list of places we needed to go. Thankfully, we didn't spend that much... we spent around $15 today.

We ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant after my radiation treatment. I spent a few minutes at a new outlet store which was enjoyable. I bought a new top...first one in many months since cancer invaded my body in December. Then Dale picked up a few things at Walmart for us, too much walking for me to consider.

I'm just sorry you had to go there in the first place, as most people know, I don't like Walmart...and I can never find everything I need anymore. Always some item not available, it seems.
Laundry, cleaning, caring for son. It all had to be done. I'm not finished cleaning, but then again, I never am.
