Yes, it is thundering and lightening and the rain is pounding down. As if we needed more rain. We ordered dinner for pickup and I am going to have to brave the storm to get it. Oh well, it will be worth it. I am having a sausage and pepper sandwich with onion straws and they are incredible. Danny is coming over to join us, he has been working at my house, power washing the exterior and treating the roof for the green gunk growing there.
My house looks like I am moving out. Two neighbors came by to talk to Dan. My son Steve is selling his house and he asked me if he could put a Pod in my driveway. I said sure so it looks like I am packing up my house. I'm not.
I did pack today for my Vermont adventure. We leave at 9 am tomorrow morning. Alex asked if he could borrow my car for the weekend, It is an Outback and his girlfriend is selling her jewelry at a flea market. They need to carry tables and stuff. I said sure since I am not going to be home. That is why I have 2 cars, my Nissan is too small for carrying things.
Not much else going on today. I finished up the last two articles I have to write. So I have no work at the moment. Feels a little strange but not a bad thing. In Vermont, we will play a lot of Ticket to Ride our favorite game.

@BelleStarr Lucky you..I had been through Vermont and stayed in the Brattleboro area once.
Also stopped at Hog Back mountains there isnt that what its called the lookout place there..gorgeous one early morning as I recall.

@BelleStarr ........And that helps a little for a short amount of time. It is very hard to sleep when it only gets down to about 85 during the night.

If it's two or three people Nordic is good. Europe adds a few variations and we use the US the most but some of the others are just too complicated. London is a little one that is perfect for 2. Is there an Australia?
I have France which I don't like.

@BelleStarr There is an Australian one. I don't have it. I know they added more train lines as there is only one east to west line in the real world. I play Nordic and Switzerland mostly.

It is a great game and has many varieties. We like the US one the best but Nordic and European are also fun.
