Pretty trees all lit up - and a possum for good measure

The image is a collage of photos that Vince took at the LightScape that we went to in King’s Park, Perth, recently. I didn’t take my camera but Vince has kindly said I can use any that he took – as I knew he would. 
These are all a bit similar in a way – just trees lit up but in future discussions, I’ll show some slightly different lighting patterns. Lower left is a bottle tree, slightly different to a boab, and lower right is a possum who strutted his stuff and must have had his photo taken a thousand or so times.
We enjoyed our night. We had rugged up so we weren’t cold and it was a very pleasant night.

@JudyEv One of my sisters kept a pet skunk for years... after they had the scent glands removed. She said she and her family would be asleep and it would start running around in their house and wake them all up.

That is pretty. It reminds me of a light show at a garden center in Richmond we went to the year before last. It was super amazing, and worth the money even though it was expensive.

@JudyEv The one I went to is an annual Christmas show of lights and it really is amazing. It was worth the money even though we did pay a lot for it.

The blue light almost looks like lightning bolts going through the tree!

Our possums are very different - and much better-looking if I may say so 
- than the American opossums.
