I was awake, needed to go to the bathroom. Looked at my clock, and it said 5:15 a.m.
So I got up. Around 5 is a good time for me to get started on my day. I was asleep by 9:30.
As I looked at the battery powered analog clocks in my house, after getting a cup of coffee I observed that one of them said 2:30.
I went to the dining room--also 2:30, so I wondered if I was sleepy and just read wrong.
I do not feel sleepy.
I wandered in to the computer, removed my phone from the charger, and am greeted by an emergency alert of severe thunderstorms just around midnight.
I did not hear them.
In my e mail my energy provider notified me of a power outage, and then it was restored.
No wonder my bedside clock reset itself.
Maybe I will go back to bed.

I've been hearing thunder for a couple of hours but all we've gotten so far is sprinkling rain here.

@GardenGerty Nice! I'm glad you could get some more sleep.
It kept sprinkling this morning but the sun came out this afternoon and Pretty said the grass dried out so she did some more of the mowing while I was asleep.

@GardenGerty I woke up about 1am and couldn't get back to sleep so got up about 2 and did the dishes, then decided to make Jello, and check out things here. I'll be going back to bed soon.

@CarolDM We rest when we need to. At least he does. I know it is partly because of the heat and partly because of heart failure and partly because of boredom. I sometimes try to nap, but seldom succeed.

We have had a full nine months of Bob NOT going to the hospital, emergency room, urgent care or nursing home. It feels good.
