The temperature is not supposed to be high at all. Predicted 82 F. I have a lot of things to get done and thank goodness it will be cool enough to work in the kitchen. For breakfast I had a sausage sandwich and a banana. My alarms are set for getting up, getting out the door, clocking in, etc. I need to make creamer for Bob, chicken for the cats, a casserole for us and we shall see what else. Need to take out the rest of the trash. Happy Monday to all!!

We have a heatwave right now, today is going up to 90 F / 33 C and also the night will be warm. I hope it does not last too long.

I hope you do have a great day. For breakfast today I had Alpen with blueberries on top and strawberries on the side. For lunch I've had scrambled tofu with onion, carrots and celery. For dinner tonight I'm going to have Risi i Bisi which is like a risotto, with brown rice, onion and peas. Yummy.

I am not familiar with Alpen, but I am guessing it is some kind of a cold cereal, like maybe a Mueslix? Also the Risi i Bisi is sort of new to me. I may have heard of it before.

Good morning. We're only supposed to reach 79F today with a 50% chance of more rain. We've had almost 3 inches over the weekend and things here are a little bit soggy. (The culvert at the end of our yard is currently full and some streets in the city are flooded. Luckily, none of the streets we need are having a problem. We still have a thunderstorm watch until 4 pm. And the flash flood watch is still in effect, too.) I hope you enjoy your day.

@GardenGerty We ended up with 5 inches over the last weekend. I hope you get more rain before long. We finally got the front and side yards mowed again but haven't managed to get any of the back yard mowed.
