17 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. We had a shower a little while ago. Otherwise, it was sunny and breezy.
I'm thankful for Missy's distraction today. She's such a good dog. I need to remember she's here. Though she barked a couple of times. Her daddy will pick her up soon.
I'm thankful for being here with you. I got the notifications done twice and could see what you're doing in your world.
I'm thankful for a win at Canasta. It was a very close game. My partner and I won by 140 points.
I'm thankful I found another story to work on. This one is called Out of the Darkness. It's also Science Fiction. It's a fast read. I wonder what I'll find when I get to the end whether I will continue or put it away for another day. There are two I want to finish this year.

I am grateful that despite the weather being sunny at 99 degrees F, the humidity is low and it is no hot outside as well as a call from my health provider today to schedule a meeting soon.

@just4him I’ve written a few short stories and that’s the way I wrote them. I didn’t need to do research. I haven’t tried to publish them. Some of my poetry has been published in poetry books and magazines. I should be working on it now.

I'm thankful my hubby is going out to get a new title for our car that has been sitting here for 13 years. Someone wants to buy it; and I'll be glad to see it gone! Enjoy your day.

@LindaOHio I'm glad it's that easy. I needed to do that a few years ago. I'm glad it hasn't changed. Getting your license takes time now. They take your picture and then send your license to you in the mail. It used to be one and done.
