Smoothie

My afternoon bus ride is absolutely debilitating. No air conditioning, just open windows blowing in hot air.
I am on the bus for an hour and a half. Talk about a rolling sauna. Yes, I stay hydrated.
We were going to have burgers tonight, but I took a nap and when I got up I said it was too hot, we would just have smoothies.
So we had smoothies with bananas and blueberries, yogurt, milk and protein powder.
A nice cold meal for a very hot evening.

I'm glad you found something for dinner tonight that didn't need a lot of prep or cooking. It being too hot to eat is one reason we wait until late at night to eat supper.

I remember riding the bus downtown every day. I got bus sick a lot. It was especially bad in the winter with heavy coats on. Much too hot. I hope you get a break from the heat soon. Enjoy your day.

Oh I can just imagine the torture of that bus ride. Glad you kept hydrated, though. Your smoothie dinner sounds delicious and it's healthy too. Now I'm just jealous, I'll see if I can convince the people here to come and hunt for a fruit smoothie with me tomorrow, as it's going to be another blistering hot day.

It’s hard to believe that school buses don’t have air conditioning. I remember being on hot buses without air too. I feel for you.
