Monday Morning Brief and Weekend Update

Good morning from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's a beautiful autumn day today. I know autumn is still a few days away, but the temperature is cooler today, in the 60s, and we have rain, something we need badly. So, no sun today. I know most people associate beautiful days with sunshine. Not me. I'll take the rain over the sunshine any day as we need the rain so badly. Today will be a light day. I have an exercise class in half an hour. Then it's catching up on the notifications and working on a book. I decided not to ditch Ecstasy. It will take a lot of work and revision before I get this one ready to publish. In the meantime, I'll work on Faith to Believe and A Score to Settle. It will keep me busy. Yesterday was the beginning of football season. Okay, it started last Thursday, but they played most of the games yesterday and there's one tonight. The good news is that the Pack won. We had our season opener against the Bears on their home field. From comments from the announcers, I got the feeling the Bears thought it would be a walk in the park for them to beat the Packers, who have a new quarterback. I think he showed them who owns the house. The Packers stomped the Bears 38-20. Yes, there was noise in my apartment during the game. Other than the game, I went to church in the morning and watched my shows until game time. I also worked out on the foot cycle during the first quarter of the game. I was going to work out for the entire first quarter, but I was done in 35 minutes. The first quarter took 45 minutes. I'm moving slowly this morning.
