Oh yeah, a real oldy. I was 12 when this came out but I didn't know about it til I was in my 30s. Since either ma or pa had control of radios and TV back then I was subjected to whatever they wanted to hear. Ma loved opera
and pa loved country western
It's not really the kind of song I would have listened to when I finally got my first transistor radio when I was 15, that's when everyone at my high school was googoo over the Beatles .... and from there I graduated to hard rock or whatever ya wanna call it.
Anyway, have you ever heard this song before? I'm hoping the link will show up the way it should.

Yeah, it's been covered by many artists over the years and honestly I think it was a guy who sang it the first time I heard it.
EDIT: looked it up on youtube, seems it's never been sung by a guy ..... my memory ain't watt it used to be

@rebelann Ok, found it. This is X-Factor from 2012.
Skip to 2:15. (Before that is him being way too nervous to get on stage . . . he sure proved himself
). Like I said, a different tone from the Shirelle's . . .

Oh, yeah, the eternal question... will you still love me tomorrow or are you just saying it to get your own way now?

You must have been on cloud nine when you got the transistor radio-you could listen to whatever you liked.
