Do creepy people know they are creepy?

I don’t think every person who is creepy knows it. And please don’t mistake my term of creepy as meaning someone who is simply different. Different people, weird people (which I proudly claim to be), are not the same as creepy. I have run into people who think their creepy actions are funny or daring, or bold, and they wear it like a badge. But it’s all creepy. Being misunderstood is totally different. I wish I could remember the name of a show I used to watch on cable, and it was a documentary about a shop that sold unusual things. The people who came in there were absolutely delightful in what mainstream people would say were odd interests. But they weren’t creepy. Watch out for the creeps. Do you?

The hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I meet a real creep

@AmbiePam I have no idea but I dread when they come to my post. I just ignore them . Only when there is something to criticise or point out errors according to them that I see them and it gets on my nerves.

I consider creepy people as those who make others uncomfortable, and no if they were self aware enough to know how they come off, the probably wouldn't be creepy...unless of course they are psychopaths or something.

There are some people I can't wait to get away from. I feel sorry for them but don't have the stamina to help them become more normal.

I have sensed at times when someone was on the creepy side and was right. I steered clear of them as much as possible. I've also known people who for whatever reasons were just different than what most would consider "normal" and find them to be actually interesting to be around. I seem to learn from them more that the "normal" people

I am an Introvert and most of the time Introverts are perceived as creeps by Extroverts. I know some people's mood swings makes them behave like a creep.

It would be a shame for someone to be labeled a creep solely because they are an introvert.

Avoid them like the plague. Some relish their own creepiness and love to disgust and disturb others for "fun".

I assume creepy people don't purposefully act like creeps - they just ARE creeps . Maybe what makes them creepy is they continue pushing their creepy buttons and have no sense of when to stop - when most people do.

I know or have known some very creepy people. One guy in our park came from the backwoods in Maine. He was creepy. I don't know exactly why but I could not stand being around him. He just was not like other people. He tried to act like most people but he just didn't.

My definition of creepy is someone who makes me feel uneasy - tells me things that I am uncomfortable of hearing. Lol

Oh, I definitely think some people know they are creepy. I think that's the way they strive to be. I like celebrating differences, but if someone gives me a 'creepy' as you say, feeling, I am out of there!

Creepy is when you feel uneasy around someone to me. Weird or strange is different. I am strange and it is ok to be strange you just like what you like even if it is different than what others like.

I have also met people who seemed to be proud of the creepy action they did. Creepy people make me feel immediately uncomfortable.

My best friend told me about a guy who she works with. He had been following this one girl around. The girl told the guy that she wasn't interesting him, but he keeps following her around. My best friend said that she will tell the manager about it if the girl won't.
