Perhaps you remember hearing about the gator that was found with a missing nose and upper jaw? Well, he has found a home. Gatorland Orlando has taken the gator in. They will feed the gator which would have been unable to survive in the wild.
Elon Musk's company, Neuralink, will be starting a human trial for a brain implant chip for paralysis patients. It will "enable people to control external devices with their thoughts".
Between 6,000-8,000 mink have escaped a Rockefeller Township farm in Pennsylvania through holes in the fence created by a vandal. Numerous agencies are rushing to recapture the mink because they pose a serious threat to wildlife and pets.

@LindaOHio Minks carry so many diseases that a full page is not enough to list them all.
Scientists discovered coronavirus in a wild mink and they can transmit the virus to humans.

I don't know about the Elon Musk thing, that's just a strange thought!
Yesterday I had fish for lunch and pizza for dinner.

I can't help but wonder what kind of person would mutilate animals like that. I hate to think what that person would do to a child.
Oh yikes, I've read that mink are almost as vicious as wolverines.
Just what kind of people are there in our population, it's really scary when you think about it.

From what they said, the gator either lost his jaw in a fight or from a propeller on a boat.

@rebelann I don't know. The people at Gatorland are taking pieces of food and putting it in the back of the gator's mouth so he can eat. Poor gator.

@wolfgirl569 I'm sure there will be a lot they can't find....and they will multiply and become a nuisance.

That's a lot of mink on the loose. I hope they can capture them. I'm glad the gator has a new home and a chance for a long life. That's an interesting brain trial.
Your food looks good.
My food yesterday: Breakfast - Raisin Bran and banana. Lunch - Lentil soup and turkey/bacon sandwich with potato chips and a pickle at ADRC. Supper - Johnsonville brat patty from a friend on a Keto friendly bun. Snack - Strawberries. I kept it all within the budget, but the scale was up this morning, but not badly.

@lindaohio Farming mink is risky for this very reason. No need to farm them other than for fur so should be banned. Happened in England - they created big problems. Sea bass with chimichurri sauce and roasted cauliflower here tonight.

I'm glad I'm nowhere near where those mink escaped.
Wasn't very hungry last night so I just had a bowl of cereal.

I’m glad the gator found a good home. And it may have been a smart move on the part of Gatorland, as now more people will go there just to see the gator.
