You obviously know how to handle yourself, but after my dad’s knee replacement surgery, I feel like I should tell you one thing: please don’t let them push you out of the hospital for several days. Even if they say you are fine to go home, please stay at least one m, if not two more days. My dad went home when they declared him good to go, and he took their word for it. It was a big mistake. He’s tough, and obviously, so are you. But some things doctors have no real clue about unless they have gone through it. I’ll just pray you have as relatively easy of a time as Valerie did with her knee replacement surgery. Yesterday, I had banana nut bread, orange chicken with lo mein, carrots, and spaghetti squash.

@lindaohio I hope that appointment goes well and you get what you need. I cheated tonight and bought in a pizza. I really don’t like doing that but I’m running out of ideas for nice meals.

I think it is a good option. Can they offer home service for the physical therapy treatment?

Winter has some disadvantages, but summer is so hot, I think that winter is a better season for surgery.

I hope the surgery goes well and you have no problems at all getting around after the surgery and rehab are done. Snow and ice always worry me and I try not to go outside if there's anything on the ground besides dirt and grass. (I fell coming into the house yesterday. Pretty and I walked to the close grocery store yesterday morning since I still couldn't see well enough to drive... We didn't buy a lot but I still tripped and fell coming up the front steps. *sigh*)

Is there any chance you can do pt at home?

I need to pick up a ticket!! WhooHooo!! Yesterday I had nothing for breakfast...I was running late for the boutique. Nothing for lunch and forgot my snacks for boutique but managed to drink my water and avoid the calorie loaded baked goodies there. I picked up Subway on the way home for dinner.

Maybe you'll get lucky and the therapy will end before winter starts.

Thankfully, there’s a Chuy’s in Chattanooga, so I had my chicken taco salad before heading to Brasstown Bald. Subway turkey sub for dinner.

Yesterday I ate a slice of pizza, tuna, two bananas, chocolate.

Didn't know you needed surgery, sorry to hear that. Doesn't sound fun, especially with winter coming.

That's a huge amount for jackpot. Are you participating? We had baingan bharta(baked and mashed eggplant with tomatoes, spices and other herbs) with chapati ( Indian bread) for dinner. We did have some cauliflower fry left from the lunch time.
