It's a Rainy and Windy Saturday

Happy Saturday Everyone! it's a rainy day here today so the forecast wasn't wrong. Looks like the whole weekend will be a washout.
Our community was supposed to have it's annual cookout today but had to cancel because of the rain and our rain date for tomorrow is just as bad. So, we won't be having our cookout this year and I guess the board decided it was too hard to reschedule to another weekend.
Next weekend is our community yard sale so hopefully the weather will be better. I have some things I'll try to sell before packing them in a box for donation.
I'm going to be parting with some books (I know that's a shocker) but they're small paperbacks and the print is just way too small for me to read. The newer paperbacks are so much better. If no one wants the books I'll send them to donation.
Speaking of reading ... since today is a rainy day and perfect to curl up with a book I think that's what I'm going to do.

It rained most of the day so far and the forecast shows a 90% chance of storms later tonight and all day Sunday. I've slept most of the day...
If I lived closer to you, I'd check the books you don't want and maybe buy them from you... I've mostly stopped buying real books because we don't have a lot of room to store them. I mostly read ebooks on my phone now.

The weather has been sunny and in the 70s. No plans for this weekend except to watch the Cleveland Browns play today. I'm sorry the cookout was canceled. Have a great day.

Well, in a way I am having fun watching Roscoe attack the pumpkin I got him. I've been videoing him as he tries to tear up that pumpkin which hopefully I'll be able to share here. I really miss being able to share my photos

Weather today is fine, a bit hot. I had an enjoyable lunch with my friend from Toronto. We'll meet up again before she left HK.
