Happy Thursday Everyone! another rainy day here today. It was nice having a sunny day yesterday and today we're back to dismal and depressing.
I saw some organizer containers on Amazon so I ordered them. Figured they would be perfect for storing my yarn and keep it all organized. However, they are smaller than I expected so I don't know if they sent me the wrong ones or if I accidentally ordered the wrong size. Now I have to decide if I want to keep them or send them back.
I'm sure if I keep them I can use them even if it's not for my original purpose.
I also got a new welcome mat for the front door. The one we have is looking really worn so Amazon had one I liked on sale. Can't pass up a good sale.
With the weather changing and us heading into the cooler months I find myself more interested in decorating and doing things around the house. I get one project done and there's always another right behind it.
I have a few things I want to accomplish today but for now I'm going to enjoy my coffee and chat here for awhile.
Can you believe that we only two more days left in September.

Yes, time really flies. But weather is still quite hot here. Probably due to climate change, autumn here is getting shorter and shorter.

I'm sure climate change us affecting all of us. This week we have chilly temperatures but next week it will feel more like summer. Summer seems to he hanging on

Organizers are so helpful. I have ordered quite a few in the last few years from Amazon and they make all the corners like cupboards, drawers, work table etc so organised. We are getting rain in the night and sunny day. So, it is going good in the last ten days.

I've always said it should only rain at night
Amazon does have a wide variety of all sorts of organizers . I've gotten quite a few myself over the years

@Marilynda1225 I like it the best when it rains while we sleep. I enjoy the pit pat of raindrops on my roof..the rhythm and music helps me sleep better

I am really hope October brings significantly cooler weather. It is still in the 90s, and very humid here. If my apartment were more in order, I would love to get out my decorations, but nothing is where it needs to be. I’m going to have to do some organizing myself. Honestly, the Amazon Vine thing is contributing to my disorganization.

I'm not doing a lot of decorating but I have a few things I'd like to put out and make the house feel more festive.
There always seems that some sort of organizing is on the "to do' list

I know....September really flew by. Maybe you can find something else to put in the organizer bins, and buy another one for the yarn.I have a small one I got for free somewhere, and I thought it might help me organize the junk drawer. A project I must get to.

I'm sure ill find a use for these containers. I'm just disappointed they aren't what I wanted but the price was great. No doubt I'll wind up keeping them

I'm sorry they aren't the right size. However, as you said, I'm sure you'll find a use for them.
I'm glad you found a new welcome mat.
I love these cooler months. I found my snowman door hanger someone gave me last year. I also have one I loved from Tru Value last year. I'll put them both up. I just need to determine where the snowman will go.

I want to reorganise my laundry. It opens off the kitchen and a friend who has the same house plan has turned her laundry into more of a scullery.

The month has flown by and the days have gotten so short. The weather has been nice though; and we've received some much needed rain. Hope you have a good weekend.

I am looking forward to the leaves changing. I love fall. Then in about a week or two, daughter and I will go to a local orchard to get apples, pumpkins, gourds, and squash...plus drink some hot cider. She will no doubt have to come home with apple cider donuts, which she loves. I like to go just to look at all the decorations and the fall stuff. Plus, since she moved back here, we get to do a lot more things together and it's just nice.

It seems this whole year has gone by quickly. Glad that you found some good deals at amazon. I haven't ordered from there in a couple of years. Hope your projects get done. I need to put out some of our fall decorations.
