Good afternoon from cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. No morning brief today. It's been busy. So, this will have to do. I know I didn't post the Health Report last week, so it's good. My last report was on September 16. It was a partial report. So, here are my stats for the last two weeks. I only had two days when I wasn't home to weigh myself. 16 September - Weight - 210.5. Calories consumed: 1456. Calorie Budget: 2035. Steps: 8.3K. 17 September - Weight: 210.4. Calories consumed: 1698. Calorie budget: 2134. Steps: 9.7K. 18 September - Weight - 210.8. Calories consumed: 1327. Calorie budget: 2183. Steps: 8.7K. 19 September - Weight - 210.2. Calories consumed: 1162. Calorie budget: 2213. Steps: 10.3K. 20 September - Weight - 210.4. Calories consumed: 1930. Calorie budget: 2156. Steps: 7.8K. 21 September - Weight - 211.1. Calories consumed: 1229. Calorie budget: 1903. Steps: 8.5K. 22 September - Weight - 212.4. Calories consumed: 1738. Calorie budget: 1822. Steps: 7.4K 23 September - No weight. Calories consumed: 1446. Calorie budget: 1951. Steps: 8.5K. 24 September - Weight - 211.1. Calories consumed: 1354. Calorie budget: 2222. Steps: 8.6K. 25 September - Weight - 208.9. Calories consumed: 1257. Calorie budget: 2366. Steps: 7.1K. 26 September - Weight - 209.7. Calories consumed: 1323. Calorie budget: 1869. Steps: 6.3K. 27 September - Weight - 209.2. Calories consumed: 1608. Calorie budget: 2098. Steps: 6.3K. 28 September - Weight - 210.3. Calories consumed: 1483. Steps: 6.9K. 29 September - Weight 208.9. The calorie budget is determined by the combination of the exercise I do, whether walking or using the bike or foot cycle. The calories consumed in the exercise determine the calorie budget. So, it differs every day, depending on how much and what kind of exercise I do. If I only walk, then there will be fewer calories budgeted. I try to do both walking and the bike or foot cycle every day. It really makes a difference in the weight too. As you can see, I've dropped to a new low - 208.9. About two pounds. My weight tracker shows a loss of 5.3 pounds since I started using the step tracker. Right now, my calorie budget for today is 2123. It will change since I don't have all my steps for the day yet. How are you doing with your weight? Are you trying to lose or gain? Thanks for reading. After my last visit with my cardiologist my weight has gone down around 10 pounds and my pre-diabetic numbers are getting lower from the danger level.

fantastic job you have done there. You should be proud.I am still trying to lose. I have a lot more to lose, I am feeling better than I have in a long time. I am fighting blood pressure and prediabetic issues. I think the key for me is to lose weight.

@just4him when my husband was diagnosed several years ago, the only advice they gave was, stay away from white rice, potatoes, noodles and take your pill. We've done lot of studying on our own since then and have been able to cut his meds down significantly. I wish you well on your health journey.

The doctor told me if I can get down to 200, I'll no longer be pre-diabetic. That's my first goal. I'm getting there.

I am trying to lose weight in the long run, but with the steroid shot my main focus is not to gain, which I have kept from doing. Since the shot should lose its side effects soon I anticipate getting back to losing again. You are still doing good, Valerie. Keep at it!

I have re dedicated myself to losing...so its getting better. My shorts today are quite loose and I am pleased. I can't wait until I have to wear a belt to keep them up.

I don't even know what my weight is. I am not trying to lose or gain. Good to see you are meeting your goals. I don't have any. I eat healthy some of the time and some of it I don't. I've made it to age 71 and hope to make it further. That's it.
