My eyes are adjusting a little better to my spare glasses. So I am here now. I still am not reading a lot.
I took a day off from most things yesterday. I will be coming here more now in the weeks to come.
We have connected with a plumber, because I have a huge plumbing and electrical list to do, and he does both. I have not had good luck finding a plumber that is good at customer service and who will come to our tiny town. Of course there is a travel fee. He has been here once but had a personal crisis come up and had to leave. He will not charge a second travel fee, because it was his problem not mine.
He is quite the talker, and he and Bob hit it off. The plumber I had out last spring refused to talk with Bob and would call me at work to tell me off. Our preferred plumber is out of service with a knee replacement right now.
I am worship leader today. Tomorrow, Monday, I get the results of my cardiologist stress test.
I will try to get here at least once a day, though.

My test results show little to nothing to worry about. It is hard to find tradespeople who are into private residence service. Most of them want the big new construction jobs.

What the heck? He called you at work to tell you off? I hope you've found a good plumber now. We always check the Better Business Bureau's website to find our contractors. Let us know how your stress test goes. Have a good week.

Stress test--nothing notable. No arrhythmias, a few small plaques on my arteries, no blockages. Not a lot of choice on plumbers. I am not sure this guy was even licensed, he took over the uncle's business. On the other hand, the new plumber is on the boards for contractors in two communities and is licensed in plumbing and electrician. Too bad his hands are damaged right now and he cannot work. Dog attacked him.

I've never heard of service people charging a travel fee...
I need a plumber, too, but I just can't afford to pay the travel fee your plumber would charge to come here.

I am so far off the beaten path it is ridiculous. I hope you can find a good plumber nearby. I have had to pay travel fees for plumbers, regardless of where they come from and electricians, and appliance repair people as well.

I hope church goes well. I sometimes have the same issue with people wanting to charge a travel fee. I don't use them if I can at all help it. It sounds like you have a decent guy to work with though.

My stress test, which I worried about, showed no concerns. I make it once, or sometimes twice a day. It seems like I have more and more taking up my time.

My appointment will be Friday October 27 for a full eye health exam. I will get the most up to date prescription and order my new glasses then.

As suspected, there is no reason to have any concern about my heart. Plumber seems good, but is having a hard time since he got attacked by dogs.
